I’m relocating to South Korea but I’m not sure where to go. Can anyone offer advice? is a question that people preparing to relocate frequently ask in one of our many Facebook groups. It is inevitable that there would then be a plethora of responses from expats recommending the same location where they currently reside. While this is not surprising, it does not benefit the individual who is open to moving somewhere in a new country.
Bloggers may write about the TOP 10 PLACES TO LIVE IN South Korea or the BEST 5 Locations for Expats, but they do not truly understand what expat life is like because only expats can write about it; the viewpoint that expats have when living in a new country is quite different from that of someone who is on a gap year and tours many cities in a short period of time.
The answer we have come up with is straightforward: within our Facebook Groups (Link), we are inviting members who are writing in the groups to create a brief contribution to Expat life in their region. This will provide those who are trying to find an answer to the original question with a much more in-depth and meaningful article to read than a repackaged list of the top 5 places to live in South Korea or the best 10 beach resorts in South Korea, etc.
You are invited to contribute your experiences as an expat in South Korea using the submission form found under the ARTICLES link on the main menu.
We hope you find this post useful and that it aids in your move to South Korea. It will only get longer.
