Where Should I Live In Croatia? – Expats Answer

Someone just moved to Croatia and does not know where to move next. A common question in many Facebook groups asks for advice on where to live in a new country. The replies are often from the people who live in those specific locations themselves, so the info directly helps them but it’s not good for other expats taking into account they may still have to learn the ropes when they get there.

Bloggers choose topics that are interesting but may not have the most valuable perspective, like a traveler. An expat is someone who has worked or lived abroad in a new country, while a tourist only visits one city at a time. The cultural differences in between these perspectives is what makes content unique and worth reading.

The solution we came up with is simple. We are inviting members who are writing in our Facebook Groups (link) to create a contribution that gives more in-depth and meaningful answers to questions about living abroad, around the world. Those people who are looking for information will find articles about what’s happening in their region of expertise, as well as quality content across related topics.

If you are an expat living in Croatia, visit the submission form in the main menu under the ARTICLES tab for your article.

As this article expands over time, it is worth bookmarking and returning to. We hope you find it helpful when moving to Croatia.

Quick Intro, I am Kenny and I am from sunny Scotland. I have experienced the Expat specific challenges of all aspects of moving and living in several countries over the years. Having previously built large online networks I created a single Facebook Group called "Expats In Italy" as this is what I was at that time. This single group has grown to many, with the groups focus being to help people save Time, Money, Effort and Stress in their relocation journey. My focus and that of AnyExpat is on Legal, Financial and Real Estate services, rather than offer advice myself (I do not) instead I have curated a highly qualified, English Speaking network of professionals who are standing by to assist you.
