Welcome to Ideal Homes Portugal – real estate agents in the Algarve since 2012. We’ve been helping buyers and sellers in Portugal for over 10 years, and we now have two estate agency showrooms (in Vila Sol and Lagos) and a team of experienced staff ready to help you find your dream home in Portugal.

We receive over 150,000 visitors to our website every month, and make over 200 property sales each year – with customers coming to us from the USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, South Africa and many more.

We’ve featured on the A Place in the Sun TV show, and our CEO Angela Worrall is a regular presence on the expert ‘moving to Portugal’ panels at the A Place in the Sun exhibitions. You can also see us on popular Channel 4 TV show ‘Sun, Sea & Selling Houses’ which follows the stories of expats who moved abroad and now help other people follow the same dream. Running since 2017, and initially focusing on Spain, the show expanded in 2022 to include Portugal, and Ideal Homes Portugal was selected to participate – so viewers have been able to meet our founder Chris, CEO Angela, and the rest of the Ideal Homes team.

We’ll listen carefully to your requirements, and then search the Algarve to find a list of properties that might suit you. When you’re ready to visit, we’ll help get everything organised and we’ll be here to show you round the areas and properties of your choosing.

We’ll also be there to help in other ways – we have an in-house mortgage department, and our recommended specialist partners will be able to guide you through all the legal and financial processes. It doesn’t stop there – once you’ve found that perfect home, we continue even after the keys are in your hand, with our fantastic aftersales team who can help with anything from sorting out your wifi, to sourcing furniture, to checking your post, to a full rental management service.
