There are a thousand reasons to visit Tuscany; the history of it’s cities such as Florence, Pisa and Siena, the food and wine tradition that have made Tuscany and it’s wines the most appreciated in the world, and the joy of relaxing immersed in the magnificent views of the Tuscan Hills with your family.

When you plan to visit Tuscany taking a Chianti wine tour and tasting wine where it’s made is one of my top recommendations, alongside learning how to make fresh pasta with a  cooking class. If you want to visit a winery in Tuscany, in particular in its famed Chianti area, there are a few options, but public transportation isn’t one of them. Either you rent a car the problem with driving is that, unless you’re a group of five people including one person who doesn’t drink, someone will always be either driving drunk or drinking alone. Neither of these is a good idea. The best option is to book a private Chianti wine tour with Belitaly tours & Limo. We will pick you up at your accommodation by a friendly English-speaking driver such as Adam or Beki. Usually, the tour starts with a Wine tasting and tour of the cellar in one of our selected family-run wineries where you will have the chance to have a private tour of the cellar where the wine is made and taste a 4/5 glass of wine paired with a Homemade cold cuts and bruschetta. After that, we will drive you to the top of Chianti in order to take fantastic pictures of the panorama.

The next stop will be in one of the medieval town of Chianti such as Greve in Chianti or Castellina in Chianti where you will be able to visit the small shops of artisanal leather and souvenirs, just a quick stop before the highlight of the tour, the lunch in one of our selected family-run winery in Chianti Classico area. The visit of the winery starts with a tour of the historical cellars and the vineyards where your private guide will explain to you everything about the wine making, than a fantastic 3 courses full lunch paired with 5/6 glass of different wines. Usually, during the wine tastings in our selected wineries they serve full glass and not just a little shot as many of you are familiar with other wineries, so after the lunch, we suggest a stop in another Medieval town such as San Gimignano, anyway for the most brave of you we can even add a third wine tasting in another family-run winery. All the tours are completely customized as your request.
