Superb property, close to the Adriatic Coast. It is ideally located just a couple of minutes to the beach and an hour to the ski slopes. It is set amidst vines and fig trees with beautiful views across to the Apennine mountains, Fruttanoce is a most impressive renovation with pool and terraces, taking advantage of the wonderful vistas.
Sympathetically restored, using all reclaimed materials, it comprises two properties of ample proportions, an outside kitchen with covered barbecue and every amenity, including shower and W.C., enabling outside living all year round. Ancient bricks make the outside landscape a feature throughout with raised beds and borders, wrought iron railings and lawned areas. The pool is an integral part of the garden and is very welcome during the hotter months. In addition, there is a good size workshop, situated next to the landscaped driveway, which provides ample parking for the property.

Accommodation comprises two rooms downstairs, a large kitchen and a comfortable sitting room with a wood burner. Upstairs there are two large bedrooms which are both ensuite.
The second property is occasionally used as holiday accommodation for guests and family. It features a most impressive terrace overlooking the countryside and the Apennines in the distance. The terrace, with reclaimed beams, easily accommodates up to 14 people for dining whilst watching the glorious sun sets over the swimming pool. This property can be split into two apartments but are joined together by an internal staircase. There are kitchens and bathrooms on both floors and both have 2 bedrooms each and a sitting room.
The property also has several buildings situated around the houses, one very large workshop, another annex which houses a double room, with ensuite and private terrace. A garage which is insulated and has its own entrance.
Services Electric, Water and Gas. Telephone and WiFi.
Condition Fully renovated to a very high standard using reclaimed local materials where possible creating an aesthetically pleasing traditional italian ambiance.
Location Located close to the hill top village of Torino di Sangro and 2 minutes from the beach Le Morge, “Fruttanoce” is a 20 minute drive from the historic towns of Lanciano and Vasto, whilst the City of Pescara and its International Airport are just 40 minutes by car.
TORINO DI SANGRO – CHIETI PROVINCE
Torino di Sangro rises on a plateau between the Sangro and Sinello rivers at a height of 164 metres. It is in a good position just 8 kilometres from the Adriatic coast and the marina of the same name. The town is medieval in origin, and it still preserves the sixteenth century church of San Salvatore.
The economy is based upon the production of olive oil and quality wines with the surrounding hills rich in ancient olive groves and lush vineyards.
Close to the town’s centre is the English War Cemetery where the remains of more than 2,600 Commonwealth soldiers rest. They fell during 1943 in the furious battles fought by the English army against the German army along the Sangro.
The 3,134 residents have access to many facilities including shops, chemist, banks, post office, restaurants and bars. For a greater choice the much larger towns of Lanciano and Vasto are less than 30 minutes away, by car.
The coastal area or ‘Costa dei Trabocchi’ is enchanting and tranquil, where sand and pebble beaches alternate, framed by lush, wooded vegetation and crystal blue seas. The beautiful seafront promenade is ideal for long walks.
