Can everybody buy in the Dominican Republic? Yes, everybody can buy and own a property for the full 100%. You need a valid passport and a second id.
Do you have to be a resident from the Dominican Republic to buy a property? No, you don’t. When you start living here permanently it is advisable. The process is straight forward.
Give banks loans to foreigners? Yes they do. But remember, can be expensive. (Now april 2020 intrest rates from around 9% a year and around 40% deposit). Process is slow but can be done.
